Louise Lacroix
Associate
Louise studied law at Paris Descartes University. She holds a Master’s degree in Business Law, with a focus on international and European law.
She then obtained a Master’s degree in Applied Intellectual Property at Paris-Est Créteil University under Professor Caron, followed by an LLM in International Business Law & Intellectual Property at Queen Mary University of London.
Before joining Bouchara & Avocats, Louise gained experience in several law firms specialising in business law and intellectual property, as well as in the Third Chamber of the Paris Court of Justice.
Louise joined Bouchara & Avocats in 2018 and became a partner in 2026.
Louise has expertise in trademark law, copyright law, design law and unfair competition, and has a particular interest in issues related to the media, entertainment and sports industries.
Since 2024, Louise has been ranked among the IP Rising Stars according to the Managing-IP ranking. Louise is also listed among the recognised professionals in the World Trademark Review.

Assisting clients in the field of intellectual property allows us to be at the heart of innovation and to be at their side from the very beginning of their projects. This field offers the possibility of being close to the considerations and operational problems of clients, whoever they may be: from the founder of a revolutionary start-up (or its investors!), to the company developing its activities abroad or with new products, to the designer, graphic artist, stylist or fine arts enthusiast, all of them are concerned with the question of valuing, protecting and defending their distinctiveness and creativity.
Intellectual property thus allows them to discover and constantly enrich their perception of the world, through projects that are always more varied than the others and for needs that are constantly redefined by the evolution of society.
Favorite artist
Louise admires the work of the designer Azzedine Alaïa who frees himself from fashion trends and dedicates his life to sublimating women of all shapes and sizes.
Hobbies
Surrounded by musicians from an early age, music has an important place in Louise’s life.
Louise also loves cooking, a collaborative art with multiple flavors.
